KAMPALA - The Ugandan army has dismissed 114 recruits from a training camp after their blood samples were found to contain the HIV virus, the state owned New Vision newspaper said yesterday.

It said trainers at Mbarara camp in western Uganda read out a list of names of recruits they were sending home on medical grounds after blood samples showed up the virus.
