The RUC is investigating the explosion of two pipebombs outside separate houses in Co ntrim early this morning.

The RUC is investigating the explosion of two pipebombs outside separate houses in Co ntrim early this morning.

Both incidents happened at Inchcolme Avenue, Ballymena, at about 12.30 a.m. No one was injured in the attacks, which damaged the front door in one house and a window in the other.

People in a house at Mounthill Drive in Cloughmills, Co Antrim, also escaped injury when shots were fired through a bedroom window.
