Baghdad - President Saddam Hussein's son Uday is not planning to use his success in Iraq's parliamentary election as a springboard for higher office in the national assembly, Mr Hussein's own newspaper said yesterday. Mr Hussein won a seat in Monday's election, causing speculation that this was the start of a process of grooming him for national leadership.
