Madrid - Spanish Judge Baltasar Garzon, renowned for leading high-profile court cases, is under investigation to establish whether he revealed judicial secrets to his biographer.
Mr Garzon is best known for his ultimately unsuccessful attempt to try the former Chilean dictator, Gen Augusto Pinochet, in Spain on human rights charges.
"We have started a disciplinary inquiry to see if the book contains secret details of the case," a spokesman for the disciplinary committee of Spain's General Council of the Judiciary said yesterday.
