The teenage son of the Tanaiste, Mr Spring, was described as "much improved" by a source close to the family yesterday. Aaron Spring, a boarding pupil at Mount St Joseph's, Roscrea, Co Tipperary, took ill on Monday and was removed to Nenagh General Hospital. Mr Spring, who cut short his stay at the EU summit in Amsterdam, was with his son at the hospital, where he is undergoing tests, on Monday afternoon and yesterday.
