Three held after Co Meath explosives find

Three men are being held by gardaí after explosives were found last night in a car in Co Meath.

Three men are being held by gardaí after explosives were found last night in a car in Co Meath.

Officers from Navan and Kells stopped a car on the outskirts of Kells at about 11.30pm. A search of the vehicle uncovered two detonators and a quantity of explosives.

The three men, aged 18, 24 and 32, were arrested and are being questioned in Navan and Kells garda stations.
