Today's race meeting at Clonmel was given the go ahead after the track passed an early morning inspection.
Heavy rain in recent days had caused concern at the course with the chase track found to be unfit for racing when inspected on Tuesday, forcing the two scheduled chases to be abandoned.
The hurdle track passed this morning's inspection though and the going is described as heavy.
The first race is off at 2 p.m.
