Two elderly men were killed in separate car crashes overnight.
A man in his early seventies died in a two-car crash in Co Clare.
He was killed when the car he was driving hit another car near Inagh at about 9.30 p.m. He has not been named. His body was taken to Ennis General Hospital.
The driver of the second car suffered minor injuries.
Earlier, a 77-year-old man died when his car hit a motorbike in near Ballybofey in Co Donegal.
The motorcyclist was seriously hurt in the crash and is recovering in hospital.
