Two of four UN hostages held by gunmen loyal to clan faction leader Musa Sudi Yalahow were freed in Somalia this morning.

Mr Pierre-Paul Lamotte, a Belgian, and Algerian Frenchman Mr Mohamed Mohamedi were released in Mogadishu.
