Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland this weekend.

A woman passenger was killed in a car crash on the Lisnasoo Road in Cloughmills at  2 a.m. in Co Antrim. A second occupant of the car was taken to hospital where her injuries are not thought to be life threatening. The driver and front seat passenger escaped injury.

In Co Fermanagh, 23-year-old Neil McPhillips from Killmacross Redhills, Co Cavan, died when his motorcycle left the main Rosslea Road and hit a telegraph pole yesterday evening.
