London - Police were last night warning drug users about the possibility of a contaminated batch of heroin following the death of a woman who injected herself with a lethal dose. A 28-year-old man is likely to have one of his legs amputated after injecting himself from the same batch of the drug in Dartford, Kent. The woman, who was 25, died at her home and the man is in the Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford. Police are warning that there is a distinct possibility that a corrupt batch of the drug was responsible.
