Woman hurt in Co Antrim shooting

A woman was injured in a shotgun attack on a house in Lisburn, Co Antrim, last night.

A woman was injured in a shotgun attack on a house in Lisburn, Co Antrim, last night.

She received facial cuts when a shotgun blast shattered a front window of the house at around 11.15pm.

Three other women who were in the property on Good Shepherd Road escaped unhurt following the single shot.

Police have ruled out a sectarian or paramilitary motive and are examining a possible link to a crime gang.
