Medb Ruane's opinion column yesterday referred to the payment of £15 a day to asylum-seekers. It should have read £15 a week.
Though the heading "Court bars council from 5 Dublin sites" was correct, yesterday's report said Judge Sean MacBride had ruled that notices issued by Fingal County Council to enter sites in order to assess them for a new landfill were void for "most of the sites". In fact, the judge's overall ruling prohibited the council from entering all five sites. Four of the sites were deemed void in respect of the recommendations of the Civil Aviation Authority.
