Madam, - Early last week I drove across central Dublin at about 7am. I noticed many food trucks making deliveries to supermarkets and convenience shops. I came back across the city at about 11am. The food trucks were gone. In their place, at almost every possible bottleneck, including Camden Street and Merrion Row, were beer trucks delivering supplies to city-centre pubs.
Surely, as a gesture of good citizenship, and as a real freeflow contribution, the beer companies and the pubs could get together to make deliveries outside busy hours. - Yours, etc,
