Madam, - I couldn't agree more with Aidan Finnegan's letter (January 14th) about dropping the expression "no-brainer" due to "the discomfort, or worse, it must cause to those with experience of anencephaly".
May I suggest we also drop the expression "to cost an arm and a leg" in deference to amputee victims, the phrase "to walk tall" out of respect for those confined to wheelchairs, and "seeing is believing" so as not to offend the blind? - Yours, etc,
