Sir, - Your paper (April 16th), reports the AA as referring to "a huge effort" to make people aware of the "new traffic managements arrangements". A previous issue reported a member of the corporation, concerned with traffic, as saying that maps or diagrams had been provided to the public. If so it must have been to those within the city limits and not those in Stillorgan and Blackrock.
Now, I have seen very clear diagrams in the paper showing the new turn restrictions at the end of Georges Street and Dawson Street, but nothing to show the traffic block at the end of South King Street and the reversal of traffic flow on Stephens Street. Fortunately these were discovered while on foot and not as a result of being diverted, while driving, into the labyrinth west of Grafton Street.
Could a map be printed showing these reversals and blockages which would enable us to find our way under this new dispensation. - Yours etc.,
