A point two minutes from the end in Kilmallock gave Ard Scoil Rís their place in the Harty Cup final. Ard Scoil led 0-7 to 0-5 at the interval thanks mainly to the accuracy of Paul O'Brien who put over five frees. Most of the St Colman's first half scores were also frees.

St Colman's made a fine start to the second half and Kyle Cronin beat Eoin Foley for a goal. Stephen Condon's next point had three between them.

Darragh Carroll pointed from a sideline and O’Brien and substitute John Flynn tied it up. Both sides had two more points but Darragh Carroll won it for Ard Scoil.
