Both chases on the card at Thurles tomorrow were abandoned yesterday after the chase track was declared unraceable due to water- logging. To ensure a seven-race meeting, the Holiday Opportunity Handicap Hurdle and Cashel Maiden Hurdle will be divided.

Following an inspection of the track at Punchestown yesterday, the chase track was found to be unraceable due to water-logging. The three chase races on Thursday have therefore been abandoned. There will be a further inspection at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning to see whether the remaining races can be run. If so those races will be evaluated to see if divisions are possible to create a seven-race programme.
