Receivers are selling an office building in Tallaght, a nearby vacant retail park and an adjoining site for €4.8 million.

Agent Ganly Walters, on the instructions of joint statutory receivers Jim Hamilton and David O'Connor of BDO, are also offering the properties for sale in two lots: the offices for €2.6 million, and the retail park and 1.17-acre site for €2.2 million.

The entire development is at the intersection of Greenhills Road and Airton Road in Dublin 24 which is home to businesses such as Johnson & Johnson and Cable & Wireless. The development is minutes from Tallaght shopping centre and has easy access to the M50.

Junction House, the office element, overlooks the crossroads at Airton Road and Greenhills Road. It has 4,570sq m (49,189sq ft) over five floors and there is ample surface car-parking available. The spec at Junction House includes suspended ceilings, Cat 2 lighting, raised access floors, VRV air-conditioning and a fully fitted penthouse level.

Airton Retail Park consists of five vacant commercial units with a total floor area of 5,094sq m (54,829sq ft).

The units range in size from 792sq m to 1,795sq m (8,525sq ft to 19,321sq ft) and all five will be sold in shell and core condition with car-parking spaces to the front and rear.

The site adjoining the retail units measures 1.17 acres and is accessed from Airton Road via Airton Road Retail Park.

There is also a secondary service route around the perimeter of this development, which has an entrance onto Greenhills Road. The site has 72m of frontage onto Greenhills Road.

Zoning on the site is Objective EP2 : "To facilitate opportunities for manufacturing, research and development facilities, light industrial and employment and enterprise related uses in industrial areas and business parks", in accordance with the South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2010-2016.

Planning permission was granted for a three-storey building to include two motor showrooms with offices overhead but this expired in October 2011.

The retail park and offices were developed by McCabe Builders, which was once one of the most prominent developers in Ireland before being put into liquidation in 2012.
