Hooke & McDonald is quoting €450,000 for a fine retail premises rented by the noted paint company Farrow & Ball adjacent to Christchurch Cathedral in Dublin 2.

The premises at the busy junction of High Street and Thomas Street forms part of a former AIB bank branch which was divided into two shops with apartments overhead. Farrow & Ball pay a rent of €53,000 for unit 1 which occupies the original banking hall with a floor area of 135sq m (1,453sq ft). The interior has been extensively renovated to encapsulate the character of the old building.

Farrow & Ball is a world-renowned paint manufacturing company with outlets in London, Paris and New York. At a selling price of €450,000 the investment would show a return of 11.27 per cent.
