Aer Lingus to expand Shannon routes

New winter service to Lanzarote will begin at the end of October

Aer Lingus is expanding its service from Shannon, adding a weekly route to Lanzarote for the winter.

The new service will begin on October 26th and run until March 29th.

Aer Lingus recently announced that it would add to its transatlantic schedule between Shannon and the east coast of the US, increasing the frequency of its routes to New York and Boston from the airport and expanding the service to run throughout the year.

The most recent passenger figures for Aer Lingus showed the airline carried more passengers than a year earlier, rising by 2.9 per cent.
