The Central Bank has appointed barrister Derville Rowland as the new director of enforcement .
Ms Rowland, who was chosen following a competitive selection process, will assume her new role with immediate effect.
Ms Rowland joined the Central Bank from ACCA in May 2004, and was appointed head of enforcement in June 2010.
Prior to that, she was a member of Chambers and practised as a barrister in London and on the South Eastern Circuit.
