There must be a few corporate lonely hearts over at Goodbody Stockbrokers. As part of its annual equity conference, which takes place in the Marker Hotel in Dublin today, there will be a sort of "speed-dating" session between investors and businesses.
The event, now in its eighth year, is billed as one of the biggest equity conferences to take place in the city, with more than 70 institutional investors and 40 corporates due to attend.
All things Corporate Ireland appear to be back in vogue, and I hear a strong cohort of foreign investors was due to show up.
Goodbody will also likely beat a drum about the various corporate deals it has been involved in this year, including the forthcoming Draper Esprit flotation, news of which was released on the Irish Stock Exchange this week.
