IDA Ireland will today announce the creation of about 300 jobs with a leading overseas financial services group, writes CIARÁN HANCOCK.

It is understood that a US hedge fund administrator will unveil plans to create the jobs at its operation in Dublin. The announcement will be made by Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton.

The company has been established in Ireland for about three years and currently employs more than 200 staff here. It has been recruiting aggressively in Ireland over the past 12 months and now plans to ramp up its hiring here.
