In tech news, Apple will see as much as $47 billion slashed from its expected tax liability if Republicans push through their current tax plan, making it the biggest beneficiary of the legislation now working its way through Congress.
EU finance ministers in Brussels have endorsed a blacklist of 17 "non-cooperative jurisdictions" who are colluding in tax avoidance, and have refused to commit to tax transparency and information exchanges. A further 47 states that have pledged to introduce transparency measures are on a "grey" list and will be closely monitored for compliance. Patrick Smyth reports
