Four former Hacketts stores to rebrand and reopen as BoyleSports

Irish bookmaker BoyleSports, has acquired a number of Hacketts outlets from the High-Court-appointed liquidators, Ken Tyrrell and Declan McDonald of PwC.

The stores, which will be reopened immediately, are at Cashel Co Tipperary, Callan Co Kilkenny, Mountmellick Co Laois and Rathkeale Co Limerick.

Each of the four stores will be rebranded as BoyleSports outlets.

Boylesports is currently completing a €4 million three-year renovation programme across its estate. In a statement the company said the newly-acquired shops will now be included in that programme.

This acquisition of the four stores brings the number of BoyleSports outlets in Ireland to 212.
