Remember back in 2008 when we all flocked to Facebook leaving nothing but dust balls and decaying status updates on Bebo? And then, somehow, AOL was convinced it was a steal at US$850m? Yeah, #embarassing. After Bebo's creators bought it back for a fraction of the price they've been beavering away with its reinvention. Bebo is now is a messaging app chock-full of hashtagged chatter to convert your words and emoticons into personalised cartoon avatars. There's also a SnapChat element in that you can scribble on your messages. Every time you add a new hashtag it's sent on to the app creators and popular ones are turned into new illustrations. Amusing, but firmly aimed at teens. https://rink.hockeyapp.net/apps/101 efb8eb9e3a777bc6b2317a903e034
