We’ve seen many different Bluetooth keyboards aimed at tablet users but the new favourite has to be Logitech’s Keys-To-Go, priced at €70.
Why? It’s slim and small enough to fit in your bag but big enough to feel comfortable as you type on it. It’s a mechanical keyboard so you get the satisfying press when you type, unlike similar touch sensitive keyboards that give little feedback.
One charge – via micro USB, conveniently – and the keyboard will last about three months. Although we couldn’t test that fully (we haven’t had it that long yet), it has yet to show any signs of needing a top up.
It’s built to work with iOS devices, so it has plenty of keys specific to that system: screenshots, home screen, keyboard display. But it works with compatible Android devices too, functioning as a keyboard perfectly well.
We connected it to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S to see how it fared. It's just the shortcut keys that are a bit hit and miss, as you'd expect. Best of all, it's resistant to spills and dirt, simply wiping clean. logitech.ie
