Want to have your photos and videos in 3D? This simple device will let you do just that

The craze for 3D everything may have abated somewhat, but you can be guaranteed that that won’t stop some companies from flogging it to death.

And picking up on the idea that you might want to add some depth to your images is Poppy.

It’s essentially a way to capture and view 3D photos and video.

There’s no fancy technology involved in this; Poppy uses optics and mirrors to create the images.

It’s compatible with your iPhone (4 to 5S).

It also seems simple enough: Poppy captures two images and combines them into one when you look through the viewer, turning the image or video into a 3D scene.

There are even photos on Instagram that you can view using the device if you get bored of creating your own.
