At first glance, Reep Rewards might seem too good to be true – It's an app that rewards you for shopping. You spend money and are rewarded for doing so. The company has signed up with a number of retailers and brands to offer small cash rewards, or Reep Cents or Cash, every time you buy a product or shop in a certain store. The amount varies (anything from a few cent to €1) and participating shops range from grocery chains and household goods to petrol stations. For example, all grocery receipts from particpating retailers earn 25 cent, and you are rewarded for buying the listed products as well. All you have to do is snap a photo of your receipt (in good light so it can be read) and upload it through Reep's iOS or Android app to get your rewards. Those rewards take a number of forms; you can claim everything from kayaking and karting session to cold, hard cash or a charity donation.
