Canon’s latest point-and- shoot camera is the PowerShot SX620 HS, a 20.2 megapixel camera that comes with a 25x zoom to get you up close to the action.

Camera manufacturers have had a bit of a job trying to convince people that they still need to spend a few hundred euro on a standalone camera instead of relying solely on their smartphone. So Canon has built in a few extras to the Powershot: an ultra-wide-angle lens, full HD movies, wifi and near field communications so you can easily share images, and on-camera editing with Creative Shots filters and effects.

The camera also includes Story Highlights, which is a way of stitching together your photos and video clips, giving you a memory reel of holidays or other special occasions.
