Track down relatives from first World War

Using a database from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), the Liverpool Echo has a search tool to find relatives who fought and died as part of the British army in the first World War, A hundred years after the war began it is now possible to find relatives by name, street address or hometown, and this includes all the Irish who went to war. A quick search of my home village of Ballickmoyler, for example, brought up the names of six men from regiments including the Queen's Lancers, the Irish Guards and the Royal Dublin Fusiliers and whose final resting places were in France and Belgium.
