Aer Lingus Regional recorded its 12th consecutive month of passenger growth last month, according to new figures published on Wednesday.
The airline, which is operated by Stobart Air, said it carried 130,100 passengers in June, up 37 per cent on the same month a year earlier.
Passenger numbers for the first six months of the year were 26 per cent higher than in 2013, the airline said.
Flights to and from Dublin rose 45 per cent in June. Traffic on the airline's route from Dublin to Southend was particularly strong, rising 39 per cent as visitors flocked to the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Flights to Bristol also rose due to its proximity to the Glastonbury Festival.
Stobart Air rebranded from Aer Arran in March. The airline currently operates 550 flights a week across 27 routes connecting Ireland, Britain and France.
