Aircraft leasing specialist, Avolon, has delivered the second of four Boeing 737s to central American carrier, Aeromexico.

The Irish aircraft financier confirmed in a statement on Thursday that it has delivered a second Boeing 737-800 to Aeromexico. The airline has ordered four such planes from Avolon.

Paul Geaney, Avolon's head of the Americas, noted that the company has a strong relationship with Aeromexico.

New York-listed Avolon is due to deliver 31 craft, worth a total of $1.6 billion, to its airline customers this year. It recently reported that profits in 2014 rose 43 per cent to €160 million.
