A court report headed "Opponents of Hilton hotel say directive was flouted" in last Friday's editions stated that it was envisaged that the scheme to build a Hilton hotel would retain the street-front facades of all buildings on the site. In fact, the scheme proposes the complete demolition of five of the buildings involved. A report on Thursday said no building work could take place until the outcome of the judicial review has been determined by the High Court. The solicitor for Lancefort Ltd in the case of Lancetart Lid v An Bord Pleanala concerning the Hilton hotel scheme points out that his client has sought no injunctive relief.
