Dublin the gritty city on show in ‘This City’s Got Love’ video

Klaw Poke, the Stella and the Gravediggers star in ‘Dublin of the everyday’ film

Sandymount Strand

Fáilte Ireland, the national tourist agency, has released a video promoting Dublin, entitled This City's Got Love, highlighting restaurants, pubs, clubs, shops, parks, street signs, activities and more in the city.

The new mini-film aims to make viewers think of Dublin anew and to embrace all that is elegant and gritty, old and new, well-known and off-the-beaten track.

The title is the message from the soundtrack accompanying the footage, a track from Dublin-based electro-pop duo, Le Boom.

The video was directed by Yousef Eldin, who ran Dublin's underground Mongrel magazine and worked with Vice, and produced by In the Company of Huskies, a creative agency based in Dublin, with help from Butter Films.

Pubs/bars
Whether you're after a quick pint or a traditional seisiún, try The Gravediggers next door to Glasnevin Cemetery, or The Cobblestone and Token in Smithfield. There's fun and games at PantiBar, while the Liquor Rooms will see you through to the early hours.

Stella Cinema

The Natural History Museum is only a short walk from The Little Museum of Dublin, offering a snapshot of city life over the past 100 years.
