Who can resist a Sesame Street reference ? But if you're thinking of butcher, bakers and candlestick makers, think again. The people in punk-jazz pioneers Led Bib's neighbourhood are from the other side of the tracks, edgier, more dangerous, and more likely to mug you than help you across the street. The London-based quintet have been leading a full-throated charge out of the jazz ghetto for that last decade, but their fifth studio recording – the follow-up to their Mercury-nominated Sensible Shoes – sees them cast a few shrouds of mystery over their robust sound.
