THE former Blindcraft premises at Rathmines Road, Rathmines, Dublin 6, has been redeveloped and let by the net owners. The company paid £450,000 for The building and spent another £400,000 on upgrading and extending it.

The Wheelchair Association has opened its first shop in Ireland at the premises, where it occupies 1,150 square feet at a rent of £18,000 per annum. Snap Instant Print has rented a shop of 1,100 square feet at £18,000 and the remaining retail unit of 1,250 square feet is occupied by The House of Cane at £19,000 per annum. Upstairs, the finance company, French" and Associates, is paying a rent of £25,000 for 4,000 square feet of office space and six car-parking spaces. Chartered accountants, Donegan Associates, have acquired the top floor.
