Nothing like the rail thing

Shopfront: Nothing wrong with that - particularly in rented accommodation - but finding a rail that holds a good amount of clothing without taking up too much space can be hard.

Rails designed for rag trade use can be too awkward and clumsy. So have a look at Habitat's neat, smart-looking rail that is just the right size: at 145cm high x 110cms wide, it's not too long and not too deep. Bars across the bottom allow for shoes to be stacked and they also sell soft denim boxes that can hold socks and underwear and hang off the ends. The whole thing costs €65 and comes flat-packed but assembles without any screws or bolts.
