Dublin-based designer Susan Reeves, co-founder of the late, lamented Smock boutique, has launched an Irish-made childrenswear collection for girls aged four to 10. A graduate of the Grafton Academy, Reeves has a passion for pattern cutting and textiles. The new range is in machine washable 100 per cent quality cotton in punchy prints and vibrant colours. The skirts (which are lined) have playful details such as colourful pom poms and practical elasticated waistbands. They are designed with everyday wear and longevity in mind. Prices are €35 to €40 from her website, susanreevesdesign.com and are also available at Pearl boutique, South King Street, Dublin 2.
