Penneys took its cue from US Vogue and photographed its autumn/winter collections in the misty, romantic surroundings of Kerry. The American magazine's September issue did the same last year. For winter, Penneys' textured jacquards, shaggy knits and slope-shouldered coats owe their inspiration to Marc Jacobs, Isabel Marant and Chloe, but at a fraction of the cost. This 1970s-style outfit comes to €66 – the dress is €25; shoes, €15; snood, €7; hat, €9 and bag, €10. In store from August 18th.
