Beijing - A bungled robbery attempt left 19 people dead and knocked the would-be thief unconscious in China's northeastern Liaoning province, the official Xinhua news agency reported yesterday.
Police in Linghai City said Song Xianggui (36) had admitted detonating explosives he had stolen from a coal mine inside the long-distance bus in an attempt to knock the passengers out and rob them.
