Birmingham - Ms Mandy Allwood (33), the woman who became pregnant with octuplets but lost all eight babies, yesterday appeared in court accused of a £175,000 mortgage fraud.
Ms Allwood, of Croft Leigh Gardens, Kingslea Road, Solihull, is charged with three counts of false accounting and one of evading a liability by deception.
She was granted unconditional bail and the case was adjourned by Birmingham Magistrates until January 6th, 1999.
