Ferry travel between Ireland and Britain as well as Ireland and France has been severely disrupted because of bad weather.
Met Éireann gale warnings on the Irish Sea have caused some sailings to be cancelled and placing other sailings in doubt.
The 6pm Irish Ferries scheduled sailing from Cherbourg to Rosslare is will be delayed and is not expected to depart Cherbourg until approximately 8pm French time.
Earlier, Irish Ferries cancelled the 8.45am Swift sailing from Dublin Port. The 2.30pm sailing is also in doubt.
The 11.10am Stena Line sailing from Dún Laoghaire to Holyhead was cancelled while the 6pm sailing is in doubt.

Elsewhere, a traffic alert has been issued in Donegal, advising motorists of extremely icy and dangerous road conditions travelling from west Donegal to Letterkenny.
The roads are very icy, especially coming from Meena Cross, Glenswilley and Meenatinny.
