Britons warned of more floods

London - Flooding in Britain is far from over

London - Flooding in Britain is far from over. River levels in parts of the country could exceed last month's peak by four inches, experts warned yesterday. High tides and the flow of the swollen River Severn would carry on pushing its water level up until the weekend, said the Environment Agency.

Meanwhile, fears were growing for 19-year-old Danny Grimley, who fell into a swollen river in Greater Manchester during the early hours of Wednesday.
