Council initiates arts awards

Belfast City Council has initiated its first arts awards scheme. Nominees include the writers Robert Wilson and Ciaran Carson, the Lyric Theatre and the Tinderbox Theatre company, Queen's University (in the music section), the Ormeau Baths gallery, and Dubbeljoint Productions and the West Belfast Community Festival for their drama collaboration Just a Prisoner's Wife.
