Gardaí seized some €42,000 of drugs in Cobh, Co Cork on Friday and have arrested a man in connection with the seizure.
Roughly €20,000 of suspected cannabis and €2,000 of suspected cocaine was found during a search of a house. Further searches were conducted in the area, and another €20,000 worth of suspected cannabis was found.
Midleton gardaí conducted the search under a warrant.
A man in his 20s was arrested in relation to the seizure, and he was taken to Midleton Garda station.
He is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, and investigations are ongoing.
