Tipperary hurler Lar Corbett has offered a reward of €5,000 for information on an intruder who broke into his pub and stole cash.

Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating the robbery, which occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, and Mr Corbett has since published CCTV footage of the alleged perpetrator.

The short clip shows a man wearing white trousers, a dark jacket, a cap and a large rucksack approaching the front door of the premises in Thurles.

In a series of angry Tweets, the three-time All-Star offered the reward for information and indicated that similar incidents have happened across the country but vowed to “stop this one”.
