Two Lithuanian men arrested after drugs found in van arriving from France

Two men are being questioned in Wexford following the discovery of heroin and amphetamines worth an estimated €190,000 at Rosslare Europort yesterday.

The drugs were discovered by customs officers after drug dog Ralph gave a positive reaction when a van was stopped as it disembarked a ferry from France.

Steroids, cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol were also seized.

Two Lithuanian men, one in his thirties and one in his forties, were arrested at the scene and taken to Wexford Garda station.
