A 24-year-old man who had been questioned by gardaí over the murder of Thomas ‘Toddy’ Dooley in Co Offaly has been released without charge.

Two other men, both aged 19, were released yesterday.

Mr Dooley, who lived alone, was found on a couch in the living room of his home in Sister Senan Court, Edenderry, on February 16th with injuries to his upper body and head.

A Garda file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
